Bouncy Castle Hire FAQ’s.

How do I book?

Give us a call and we can arrange everything for you no worries at all. The numbers

we will get straight back to you with all the information you need.

How do I pay?

We require a non-refundable deposit to secure the booking. Full payment must be
paid on delivery of the inflatable either in cash or using a debit or credit card. We will
have a card reader with us when delivering the inflatable but our machine will require
telephone reception at your location for us to accept payment in this way.

Please note that if your booking is cancelled by Body Bounce due to bad weather
(for example strong winds or heavy rain) your deposit can be transferred to a
different date or a full refund can be provided.

How long do I get the equipment for?

Most parties are in the afternoon so we try to deliver equipment between 0800 until
1200 and then come and put the equipment away between 1630 and 1930 although
times can be arranged to suit.

What if it rains?

On days with heavy or persistent rain, if your event is outside Body Bounce will
recommend that your event is postponed until a different date. On a day with light
showers, bouncy castles can be used in between the showers once they have been
dried with towels. Our employee who delivers the inflatable will provide more info
about that on the day.

Can bouncy castles be set up on a slope?

A minor slope possibly yes. If your planned location for the inflatable has a slope,
contact us prior to booking and we can discuss this with you.

How much space is needed?
The space required depends very much on which bouncy castles you are hiring, but
we will discuss all those details with you on the phone.
But please do consider factors such as we require no low hanging trees, no electrical
power cables immediately overhead and a clean, well maintained area without mud
or dog waste.

Do I need to provide a power supply?

Yes, we must have access to a main socket within 50 metres of the inflatable. Again,
this will be discussed on the phone with you at the time of the booking.

Do you provide safety instructions?

Absolutely yes! You will be required to read and sign our hire agreement which our
employee will go through with you in detail.

Is there an age limit for the inflatables?

Yes, adults are not allowed to use our inflatables and they are for children only. We
also require that a responsible adult supervises the inflatable if a Body Bounce
employee is not on site and that only children with a similar age are allowed on the
inflatable at any one time. The maximum age of children for our inflatables is 12
years old.
Can I have a bouncy castle set up at an indoor venue such as a school or hall?
Absolutely yes! We can provide sand bags and thick safety mats for use in indoor
sites. But you must consider the size, height of the roof and access to the venue. We
will discuss this in more detail with you at the time of booking.
We do not however hire bouncy castles for outdoor use on hard surfaces. We can
only provide bouncy castle hire outside on grass so that we can safely stake the
inflatable into the ground.

Do you have insurance for bouncy castle hire?

Of course! We are fully covered with 5 million pound public liability insurance and all of our
inflatables have an annual “MOT test” using either the PIPA or RPII test certificate
service so you can be assured our inflatables are well made and safe to use.
